2024 Mid Year

A few quick updates:

I'm still playing the viola. Life and work catch up and I haven't been able to update this site. I'll be back on this soon-ish, though.

I'm now playing with an orchestra called Tanglin Symphony Orchestra. We have concerts almost every quarter. I totally enjoy it.

I've also auditioned for Orchestra of the Music Makers and I've passed the audition. I haven't started playing with them yet but the audition was an experience for me by itself. I'll put up a post about it when I have time.

I'm traveling regularly with my viola now too. I thought it might be interesting to share some stories there as well.

Last but definitely not least, I've decided to commission a viola from Helen. I'm really looking forward to it. (Image of this post is me trying one of her violas at her studio in Sept 2023.)
